Laser Displacement Sensors
Enicstra stocks laser displacement sensors that use triangulation to measure distance to a target with sub-millimeter to micrometer precision. The principle: a laser projects a spot on the target, and a position-sensitive detector (PSD) or CMOS line sensor reads the spot's angle, which corresponds to distance. Triangulation laser displacement is the workhorse of precision dimensional inspection in machine tools, electronics assembly, and quality control.
Brands carried include Keyence LK-G, LK-H, and IL-series, Sick OD/IDM, Micro-Epsilon optoNCDT and scanCONTROL, Banner LD-series, Cognex DS-series, and Panasonic HG-C. Obsolete laser displacement sensors — discontinued LK-G first generations, retired optoNCDT 1300 series, end-of-life IL-S codes — are sourced through our supplier network. Each unit is bench-tested where the bench supports it and ships with a 12-month functional warranty.
