Do you stock obsolete teach pendants and handwheels?
Yes. Discontinued ABB FlexPendant first generations, retired FANUC iPendant for R-30iA, end-of-life KUKA KCP, and earlier Heidenhain HR-series handwheels are sourced through our supplier network.
Will my old pendant work on a newer robot controller?
Sometimes, with the right firmware. ABB FlexPendant for IRC5 may work on early IRC5+ but not on OmniCore. FANUC iPendant is specific to controller generation. Verify before ordering.
Can I use an MPG from another machine on my CNC?
Sometimes — if pulse count, output type (TTL vs. differential), and connector pinout match. CNCs often have a configurable pulse-per-revolution setting that accommodates different handwheels.
Is the dead-man enabling switch part of the safety system?
Yes. The 3-position enabling switch (off-on-off) is part of the robot's safety circuit and routes through the safety controller. Substituting a 2-position rocker invalidates the safety case.
Are pendant cables replaceable?
For most pendants, yes — the cable assembly is a separate item from the pendant body. Damaged cables can be replaced without the whole pendant. Send the pendant model for cable-only options.
What is the warranty?
12-month functional warranty. Damage from drops, impact, or cable damage from coiling/uncoiling is not covered.
