Mounting brackets are the often-overlooked hardware that keeps sensors, switches, and machine guards in spec on installed equipment. Enicstra stocks OEM-specific brackets for Banner, SICK, Pepperl+Fuchs, and Allen-Bradley alongside generic stainless and aluminum mounts for M8, M12, M18, and M30 cylindrical sensors.

Inventory covers fixed-angle, swivel, and articulating brackets in stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and reinforced polymer. Choosing Brackets components

The right bracket is determined by the sensor it holds and the surface it mounts to — not by appearance. A bracket sized for an M18 barrel will not properly clamp an M12 sensor, and a stainless bracket isn't always the right answer in chemical-wash environments.

Specifications to confirm before ordering:

Sensor family and barrel/housing dimensions (M8, M12, M18, M30, rectangular)
OEM bracket part number if you're matching an existing installation
Material — stainless steel (304 vs 316L), anodized aluminum, plastic, or zinc-plated steel
Mounting hole pattern and thread size for the host surface
Adjustable versus fixed-angle requirement
Vibration loading and IP environment rating

Selection guidance:

Food, dairy, washdown: 316L stainless with smooth radiused edges
Welding cells, metal-chip environments: heavy stainless with protective shrouds
High-vibration mounts: machined aluminum or thicker-gauge stainless with locking hardware
Quick alignment in commissioning: swivel or ball-joint adjustable brackets
Retrofitting an existing footprint: match the OEM bracket exactly when hole patterns matter

316L stainless steel handles most food, dairy, and chemical-wash applications. 304 stainless is suitable for less aggressive wash. Anodized aluminum is lighter and lower cost for clean-air industrial environments but corrodes in chloride exposure. Plastic brackets are common for low-load indoor automation.

Are brackets sold individually or in kits?

Both. Most are sold as individual parts. Some OEM brackets come as a kit with mounting screws and locknuts; the product page lists contents. If you need a quantity that warrants a volume discount, ask before placing the order.

What's the warranty on brackets?

Brackets ship with our 12-month functional warranty. Because they're mechanical hardware rather than electronic devices, functional failure is rare — but if a bracket arrives damaged or doesn't match the listed specification, we'll replace or refund per our 30-day return policy.
