Choosing Accessories components

The "Accessories" category catches everything that supports a primary device but is not the device itself. Selection is almost always by OEM part number — accessories are matched to specific products, and "compatible" generics often introduce subtle problems that make troubleshooting harder later.

Common accessory types we stock:

  • Mounting hardware: brackets for sensors, vision cameras, lights, and stacks; DIN-rail end stops; panel-mount nuts and rings
  • Optical accessories: reflectors for retro-reflective sensors, filters for vision systems, lens covers and protectors
  • Cable accessories: field-wireable connectors, replacement gland kits, cable carriers and chain
  • Marking and labeling: wire-marking systems, terminal-block label strips, panel-component labels
  • Sealing and ingress protection: blank plugs, gland adapters, conduit hubs, replacement gaskets
  • Calibration and test: calibration adapters, test plugs, simulation cables for I/O testing
  • Protection devices: surge protectors, fuse-holders, EMC filters
  • Knobs, caps, and small mechanical: potentiometer knobs, hole plugs, replacement covers

Common gotchas: accessories sold "compatible" with a brand often work mechanically but fail to provide the OEM's electrical or sealing specification — a generic M12 cap plug may fit but not maintain IP67. Mounting bracket designs often look interchangeable but the bolt-pattern tolerance and depth offset differ enough to cause misalignment when stacked components are involved. When in doubt, send the OEM part number and we will match the OEM or OEM-equivalent.

Typical needs: replacing a cracked sensor bracket after a plant move, restocking blank panel plugs after a cabinet rebuild, replacing a degraded retro-reflective reflector that is no longer reading reliably, and refreshing terminal-block marking strips during a labeling refresh.

For specific accessories by OEM part number, send the part number for a sourcing quote.

Do you stock obsolete accessories?
Yes — accessories follow the same sourcing model as the primary products. Discontinued brackets, retired reflectors, end-of-life cap plugs, and earlier mounting kits are sourced through our supplier network.
Can I substitute a generic accessory for an OEM one?
Sometimes for mechanical parts (generic brackets, generic hole plugs). For electrical accessories (connectors, surge protectors, filters), OEM or OEM-equivalent is usually the safer path because subtle electrical specs matter.
How do I identify the right accessory for my device?
Send the OEM part number of the primary device and a description of what you need (bracket, reflector, cable, etc.). The OEM accessory list is usually in the device's installation guide; we can cross-reference if you do not have it.
Are accessories sold individually or in kits?
Both. Many OEMs offer accessory kits (e.g., "M12 connector + cap plug + bracket"). Individual items are also available. We will state the contents on each listing.
Will an accessory affect my device warranty?
OEM accessories used as specified preserve warranty. Generic accessories sometimes don't void warranty but may complicate troubleshooting if a failure traces back to the accessory rather than the device. When in doubt, use OEM.
What is the warranty?
12-month functional warranty on hardware accessories. Wear from extended high-cycle use (covers, knobs, mounting hardware) is not a warranty event.
