The Panasonic FT-HL80Y-54T is a fiber optic sensing head from the fiber sensor range. Heat-resistant and chemical-resistant variants exist within the family for demanding placements. Fiber heads carry light to and from the detection point, so the electronics can sit somewhere safer and more accessible. Applications include lead-frame detection, small component presence, and confirmation inside grippers. A compatible fiber amplifier is required and is ordered separately.
