The Panasonic FD-H30-KZ1V-S is a fiber sensor head used with a separate fiber amplifier. Heat-resistant and chemical-resistant variants exist within the family for demanding placements. Fiber heads carry light to and from the detection point, so the electronics can sit somewhere safer and more accessible. Machine builders use fiber heads to sense inside dies, chutes, and enclosed fixtures. A compatible fiber amplifier is required and is ordered separately.
