Beckhoff CX2040 Basic CPU module
At the performance end of the CX2000 series, the CX2040 basic CPU module runs a quad-core Intel Core i7 2715QE at 2.1 GHz with 4 GB DDR3 RAM and CFast flash storage of 20 or 40 GB, expandable to 160 GB. Beckhoff cools the module with an integrated ball-bearing fan with speed monitoring. Dual gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, DVI-I and optional fieldbus interfaces such as EtherCAT, PROFIBUS or CANopen are available, drawing a maximum of 32 W.
