ifm efector IM5024 Inductive Proximity Sensor
The IM5024 is an ifm efector inductive sensor for non-contact metal detection. It is supplied with a 20 mm sensing distance, NPN switching with either normally open or normally closed action and an unshielded rectangular block housing. The unit runs on 10 to 36 V. Because nothing moves, an inductive sensor outlasts the limit switch it usually replaces. Applications include conveyor and transfer position sensing, tooling confirmation, and speed monitoring. Mounting brackets, nuts, and cordsets are ordered separately.
