ifm efector IF5904 Inductive Proximity Sensor
ifm efector’s IF5904 is an inductive proximity sensor. This model offers a 4 mm sensing distance, PNP switching, an unshielded PBT and brass M12 threaded barrel housing and connector termination. It runs on 10 to 30 V and is sealed to IP67. An oscillating field is damped by approaching metal, which is what triggers the output. Applications include conveyor and transfer position sensing, tooling confirmation, and speed monitoring. Mounting brackets, nuts, and cordsets are ordered separately.
