ifm efector IF5493 Inductive Proximity Sensor
The ifm efector IF5493 is an inductive proximity sensor. It is supplied with a 4 mm sensing distance, PNP normally open switching and an unshielded PBT and brass M12 threaded barrel housing. In service it runs on 10 to 30 V and is sealed to IP67. Because nothing moves, an inductive sensor outlasts the limit switch it usually replaces. Applications include conveyor and transfer position sensing, tooling confirmation, and speed monitoring. Mounting brackets, nuts, and cordsets are ordered separately.
