ifm efector IC5005 Inductive Proximity Sensor
The IC5005 from ifm efector is an inductive sensor for non-contact metal detection. The unit provides a 40 mm sensing distance, PNP switching with either normally open or normally closed action and an unshielded rectangular block housing. The unit runs on 10 to 36 V. Because nothing moves, an inductive sensor outlasts the limit switch it usually replaces. Applications include conveyor and transfer position sensing, tooling confirmation, and speed monitoring. Mounting brackets, nuts, and cordsets are ordered separately.
