The Beckhoff FC2001 is a single-channel Lightbus master card for the PCI bus, exchanging 32-bit process data in 25 microseconds at 2.5 Mbaud over fiber-optic connections. Cycle times down to 100 microseconds are achievable in free-running or synchronized operation, with parameter and diagnostic access via ADS under TwinCAT. Two fiber connectors accept plastic or HCS cabling, and three LEDs provide hardware diagnostics.
