ifm efector UGT588 Inductive Proximity Sensor
The UGT588 from ifm efector is an ultrasonic proximity and distance sensor. The unit provides a 60 to 800 mm sensing range, 4-wire NPN switching with either normally open or normally closed action and connector termination. In service it runs on 10 to 30 V and is sealed to IP67. Clear plastics, black rubber, and liquid surfaces are all readily detected. Machine builders use these where optical sensing is unreliable. Brackets and cordsets are separate items.
