ifm efector IB0059 Inductive Proximity Sensor
The IB0059 from ifm efector is an inductive sensor for non-contact metal detection. As built, it provides a 20 mm sensing distance, an unshielded PBT cylindrical housing and cable termination. The unit runs on 20 to 250 V and is sealed to IP67. Because nothing moves, an inductive sensor outlasts the limit switch it usually replaces. Applications include conveyor and transfer position sensing, tooling confirmation, and speed monitoring. Mounting brackets, nuts, and cordsets are ordered separately.
