Yaskawa CDBR-4030B Dynamic Braking Unit and Transistor Module
CDBR-4030B is a Yaskawa dynamic braking unit for 400 V class drive systems, applied to motors up to 30 kW (40 HP). The braking transistor module carries a rated discharge current of 15 A with 40 A peak discharge at 10 percent duty. Connected between a drive and braking resistor, it dissipates regenerative energy during deceleration and frequent stops, allowing shorter stopping times for high-inertia loads.
