The E20645 from ifm efector is an optical distance sensor. As built, it provides reflective and a 60 to 300 mm sensing range. Analog and switching outputs let the same sensor drive a control loop or a simple interlock. It suits collision avoidance and long-range presence detection on moving equipment.
