Beckhoff EL6900 EtherCAT Terminal communication interface
The Beckhoff EL6900 TwinSAFE Logic terminal is a dedicated safety controller that links safe input and output signals over EtherCAT, supporting up to 128 FSoE connections, 255 function blocks and 32 TwinSAFE groups. Applications from simple AND/OR logic to muting are programmed in the TwinCAT Safety Editor. Certification covers DIN EN ISO 13849-1 Cat. 4, PL e and EN 61508 SIL 3, with backup and restore for device replacement.
