The Yaskawa SI-P3/V PROFIBUS-DP option card equips compatible variable frequency drives with a PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus interface. Communicating as a slave on the network, the drive can accept start/stop commands and frequency references from the PROFIBUS master while returning status and diagnostic data, cutting control wiring substantially. Supplied as an original accessory, the card is designed to install directly on the drive models it supports.
