Keyence FU-80TZ Fiber Optic Sensor, Fiber Unit Thrubeam type
Keyence’s FU-80TZ is an FU family fiber unit for digital fiber amplifiers. Keyence catalogs the FU-80TZ as a through-beam model. Through-beam units place emitter and receiver fibers opposite each other, while reflective units run both in a single head. Machine builders use fiber units to sense where a sensor body could never be mounted. A compatible Keyence fiber amplifier is required and is ordered separately.
