Beckhoff BK2000 Lightbus Bus Coupler
Serving the fiber-optic Lightbus system, the BK2000 Bus Coupler connects Beckhoff Bus Terminals to a 2.5 Mbaud ring topology that transmits 32-bit information in 25 microseconds across up to 254 stations. Each station accepts up to 64 terminals with 512 digital and 128 analog inputs/outputs, is powered from 24 V DC, and clips onto 35 mm DIN rail. It remains in regular delivery for existing installations, with the BK2020 as successor.
