The Keyence PS-201C is a high-performance transmissive sensor head engineered for long-distance detection in demanding industrial environments. Built as a thrubeam sensor, the PS-201C provides reliable long-range detection with two selectable operating modes. In TURBO mode, it achieves a maximum detecting distance of 4,000 mm, while FINE mode allows precise detection up to 2,000 mm. This dual-mode operation enables the sensor to handle both large-area monitoring and high-precision tasks, making it versatile for different production requirements.
The sensor is engineered to detect very small targets. In FINE mode, the smallest detectable object is 0.8 mm in diameter, while in TURBO mode, it can reliably detect objects as small as 1.2 mm. This high sensitivity is ideal for applications that require precise detection of thin, narrow, or intricate components.
